We are a noticeboard, not a party to your trade
We do not own, inspect, test, weigh, appraise, store, ship, insure or guarantee any item, animal, crop or service listed here. We do not verify that a member can legally sell what they list or perform what they promise.
Every trade, meeting and payment-in-kind is arranged directly between two members at their own risk.
No verification of people
A "Verified Trader" badge means a member pays for Pro. It is NOT a background check, identity check, licence check, insurance check or endorsement of skill or honesty.
Ratings, reviews, flags and jury outcomes are member-generated opinions. We do not audit them for accuracy.
Meeting in person
You choose where and when to meet. We never suggest a location, never vouch for one being safe, and never store addresses. Assess your own risk, tell someone where you are going, and stop any deal that feels unsafe.
No professional advice
Nothing in this app — including generated Bill of Sale and Service Agreement documents, dispute outcomes and help text — is legal, tax, financial, veterinary, medical, agricultural or safety advice. Consult a qualified professional for your situation.
Barter can be a taxable event. We do not calculate, withhold or report tax on your trades.
No currency, no escrow
There are no tokens, coins, credits or digital currencies in this app, and there never will be. We do not hold funds in escrow. The only money that moves through us is an optional Pro membership fee charged by Stripe.
Assumption of risk
By using this app you accept full responsibility for your listings, your trades, your meetings, the condition and legality of what you hand over and receive, and any dispute that follows. If something goes wrong, your remedy is against the other member, not against us.
